GlassesOff: Read Without Glasses App Reviews

This app worked very well for me. I can now read the telephone directory, which I used to have to use a magnifying glass to read, and I no longer have to enlarge the text of the magazines I read on the iPad. Not only that, but I can now read car number plates from about 30 metres without my glasses and I used to have trouble reading them from 8 metres. Sometimes my vision is still a little blurred, but the overall improvement is incredible.

Dear sir, I would like to thank you for inventing the glasses off app. I completed the three month Glasses Off app 12/2015-2/2016. I had an eye exam at UC BERKELEY EYE CENTER yesterday 6/2/2016. I was told my left eye has 20/20 vision. My foveal is better looking than people in their 20s. I am so glad to share this result with you.

Was sceptical but if u train regularly you will see a difference. Have stopped using reading glasses at work and dont need to put screens or paper at arms length to read without glasses

Loaded the app my phone knows its there but it has no app icon. Can only attempt to launch from App Store but does nothing. So all Ive mangled to so is waste space on my phone with no way to remove it. Not impressed!

I am in my early 40s and my eyes started getting tired at night especially since I work with a computer all day. I started to have trouble reading. Optometrist said I could use glasses. I worked with glasses off for about 2 months 2-3 times a week 15 minutes per session. The results were surprising. I no longer have the blurry vision when reading, I have regained confidence in my eyes. Needless to say I am very very happy with the results. Definitely worth a try. Make sure to persist for a while with it.

First of all theres no option if you cant see whats on the screen and secondly it goes by so fast that theres no way anyone can see it so how can you accurately assess my needs?! Its also very awkward to use your phone when its only 15" from your face. Disappointed with the assessment/results as the are not at all accurate. App needs much improvement.

Been trying for the amount of time they give before asking me to pay and didnt see improvement. Sent them email asking for more sessions to see if improvement in vision can happen, but they want payment. How do I pay $60 for an app that has no proof it works? Not impressed

Deleted the app after tutorials jus took way too long. Cant skip when it is so simple. Wasted time. Didnt want to finish the tests for the day.

I can now read my daily newspapers and magazines without my glasses. Wow

Nothing happens. Whats it supposed to do?

I noticed a definite improvement of my vision after only a couple of sessions and find it much easier now to read small text on my iPhone.

I have been training for two years now. First with both eyes, and in the past year with left eye alone. Training in both cases has shown improvement. My left eye short sight is now equivalent to my both eyes performance. Originally my left eye was poorer at short site than my right eye, both eyes combined. I can now read small text magazines in low light level in the evenings again.

Unfortunately, it does not work with my Ipad ios 8. Please check the matter and investigate with it. Thank you in advance.

Heard about this app from a 58 year old colleague, who told me that she stopped using her reading glasses after using it. Since during the past few months Ive started to have near vision difficulties, and after reading that the app is based on academic research, I decided to give it a try. Ive been using it for only a week now, and I can already feel a huge improvement in my near vision and my ability to move quickly from far to near vision. Highly recommended!!!

This is an amazing app! Im 51 and have been using GlassesOff for about six months and have no need for reading glasses. Nor do my eyes get tired which was a real problem. The app itself does get quite tedious at times but if you do it at least every other day you should be fine. Well worth the time and effort given the benefits. Its not a one time thing though. I noticed when I dont use the app for more than three days then I start to see vision issues again. Its easy to get used to not having to use reading glasses and forgetting how horrible they are. So this is truly an amazing app that Ill be using diligently for a long time.

This app does not work at the initial assessment screen. iPad mini.

Ive restarted the evaluation multiple times, and its never prompted me on what to do. It tells me its waiting for me to tap (anywhere specific?), and then four big "E" symbols appear in the same exact spots over n over. What the hell determines which should be tapped? Why is there no "help" button?

Very confusing. I cant understand how anyone has ever used this thing! >:( I am disappointed with this app. I needed to be able to see without glasses. Not happy right now. >:(

Lures you in with sweet, sweet lies about fixing your dependence on glasses then tries to con you out of your money.

A terrible app, what a waste of time.
