No instructions?

Ive restarted the evaluation multiple times, and its never prompted me on what to do. It tells me its waiting for me to tap (anywhere specific?), and then four big "E" symbols appear in the same exact spots over n over. What the hell determines which should be tapped? Why is there no "help" button?
