GlassesOff: Read Without Glasses App Reviews

Screen froze on me mid test. Completely unresponsive. Also jacked up brightness level even when App was closed. Needs to be fixed. Thnx.

It told me its not going to help me. I wear glasses mainly to be able to read. So I wear bifocals all the time.

The tutorial was easy! Great app!

Have used this app throughout the trial period. Results show improvement. However, there seems to be something like video clipping at times, so the displayed images arent complete. Also, upgrade is expensive at $24.99, and doesnt work! Now my bank account has been debited $24.99 but the app continues to tell me I need to upgrade in order to continue!

This is a gimmick to get you to sign up for more expensive gimmick

The app begins with a vision screening whereby they predict your level of vision improvement. You are then required to set up an account with username and password with your email or Facebook account. Then you are informed of the 9.99 or 24.99 charge to use the app. If you skip that option, they will offer you a two-week trial use for free. I dont mind paying for apps, particularly those that may have actual science behind them; but why wouldnt they mention this fee in their description? To be fair, it does mention "in-app" purchases in the small print by icon. It leaves a sour impression to only learned this after the investment of time. Judging by the fact that there are currently no other reviews, others may have had a similar impression. The competitors app is currently the same price... has reviews…and discloses a fee.

One must do the training, 3 times a week or so for several months, but, having done this, I can now read, without glasses, 90% of what I used to need glasses for. And as I continue to train my progress continues. I am super-psyched! Worth ten times the price! Thank you so much!!!!

Lags out way to bad

I had initially written a bad review due to the fact that I felt I was being charged an extra amount. Since then the vendor contacted me and they came through. The app works been using it for 5 months and I am GlassesOff

The initial evaluation doesnt work. It asks you to tell which way the E is facing, but after the first one, there is no E shown in the middle circle. I tried it several times.

I just downloaded this app and I find this to be very useful. Im thinking of upgrading. I hope I get very good vision.

Went through most steps up to registration I was hesitant to register because I did not know the cost of the app Read up on it at the aopa review article sounds good I just need more info before I go further

I am experiencing the same problem with the initial eval. The first test works but the Es dont show up in the second.

Tried to register but not given an option to set up password.

The app stalls at the beginning of the evaluation just as others have stated. Dont waste your time with this app until they come out with a bug fix.

The app opens the vision evaluation, but displays only the first test. After that, the Es dont appear at all. Ive exited and tried it several times to the same effect. The problem renders the app pretty useless until the issue is fixed.

This developer has used an online service to create false and misleading reviews. Note that the 5 star rated apps have very generic reviews while the 1 star apps give more detail. Not to be redundant but the 1 star reviews are spot on. I ran into the same issue with the "Es" not reappearing.

Downloaded this app on to my iPhone 6 because I was curious. Apparently the first step in using the app is a vision evaluation, but I could never get beyond the 2nd step of the evaluation. The audio and touch controls did not work. Restarted three times and then deleted the app.

I dont ordinarily write reviews. But after using this app for about a year, I can definitively say that my vision improved significantly. This time last year, I couldnt leave home without a pair of reading glasses. Now, I dont even use them at all. The science behind this app is solid. Consistent usage will deliver results. My vision improved 39%. Im lucky to have discovered this and will recommend it highly. Worth every penny and then some.

This is dumb!!! The test is annoying. Cant get Past that. Waste of time.
